This is a special Guru Yoga with which we can receive the blessings of Lama Tsong Kapa, founder of the Ganden Nyenghiu Lineage. From this practice we derive innumerable benefits such as increase in Compassion, intelligence, mental and emotional stability and spiritual protection. This Guru Yoga can be recited as a daily alternative to the Guru Puja. Gyaltsen: The second in a series of retreats to prepare and bless the mantra rolls that fill the Gyaltsen, the victory banners that will be placed on the roof of the Temple of Heaven on Earth. According to the ancient Himalayan and Buddhist tradition, Gyaltsen are auspicious banners representing victory over mental defects and negativity. Their purpose is to protect the environment and the five elements, promote physical and mental well-being and thus contribute to inner and world peace. Lama Tsong Khapa (1357-1419) was a great scholar and highly realised being. He was the founder of the Lineage Ganden Nyenghiu. From practicing this lineage derive extraordinary benefits such as the increase of compassion, intelligence, mental and emotional stability and the increase of wisdom.
